I formulated a press release on behalf of Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative (SnaPCo.) Solutions Not Collaborative (SNaPCo.) partnered with Atlanta Legal Aid to enforce the Georgia Department of Driver Services to have gender markers and name changers for the trans community.  

I wrote an op-ed about the lack of Black male representation in the communications industry. Over the years, the communications field has become more diverse regarding race, ethnicity, and cultural background, but the lack of Black male representation in communications is conspicuous.  

I wrote an op-ed about the importance of celebrating Black trans women during Women's History Month. Trans women of color face the highest levels of discrimination. Gender oppression ties with racial oppression when it comes to Black trans women. 

I wrote an op-ed about the history of Auburn Avenue. Auburn Avenue became the commercial center of Black Atlanta during the 1920s and home to the city’s emerging Black middle class. It was named “The richest Negro street in America” by Fortune Magazine.

I wrote a news story about the importance of financial literacy being taught in high schools, especially in predominantly black neighborhoods. Black Americans who take financial literacy courses in high school typically have better financial outcomes as adults. 

I formulated a press release for Clark Atlanta University's Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA.) CAU PRSSA partnered with the Mass Media Arts Alumni Society for a panel discussion titled "Where Are They Now." 

I wrote an article about the challenges Black women face in the entertainment and sports industries, highlighting the disparity between their experiences and those of their male and white counterparts.

I crafted a press release on behalf of the popular social media platform, TikTok, for reaching 1 billion users worldwide. 

I wrote a media advisory announcing the visit of TikTok influencer Tabitha Brown to Clark Atlanta University.

I crafted an opinion editorial exploring the creative impact of TikTok on Black creatives within HBCUs.

I crafted a tailored news story pitch for journalists on TikTok's content monetization strategies.

I crafted a press release for an exciting lineup of Art, Comedy, and Culture events happening during the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

This blog post on Progressions reflects on my first time attending PRSSA ICON 2024 in Anaheim, California. I wrote a press release for the PRSSA 2025 Southeast District Conference, hosted by Clark Atlanta University PRSSA in collaboration with our student-run firm, Panther Communications. The release earned coverage in HBCU Buzz, a leading platform for HBCU news, sports, and culture.
